Thiamine or vitamin- or anti-neuritic or anti beri-beri vitamin is a water soluble vitamin. The sources of thiamine are wheat flour, egg, meat, liver, yeast, ect. The deficiency of it causes beri-beri, polyneuritis and cardiovascular atrophy. The symptoms of disease are loss of appetite and weight, retarded growth , muscular dystrophy, heart enlargement, ect.
