(b) Endoplasmic Reticulum is a network of interconnected cisternae, tubules and vesicles present in cytoplasm. Depending on presence or absence of ribosomes it is of two types- (i) Rough ER : It has ribosomes attached to its surface by ribophorin (ii) Smooth ER: It does not have ribosomes. |
