The members of fungal class-Myxomycetes are called slime moulds. In the vegetative phase of their cycle, these are devoid of cell wall and are either a free living, multinucleate, amoeboid, slimy mass of protoplasm ( , Plasmodium) or an aggregation of (Pseudoplasmodium).
