Net gain of ATP during aerobic respiration

1.Glycolysis provides 2ATP molecules and 2NADH+

2.Pyruvate oxidation yields 2NADH +  

3.Krebs’ cycle produces 2GTP molecules, 6NADH +  and 2FAD  molecules.

4.In electron transport system one NADH +  produce 3ATP and FADH2 produces 32 or 34 ATP.

               2ATP from glycolysis + 2GTP from TCA cycle and 32/34 ATP from                                           ETS/ETC =38/36 ATP molecule.
