Answer Key / Explanation : (d) -

  Given surds are

LCM of 2, 3, 6 = 6

Now 6<8<9 or 

As  is smallest.

∴ Statement (i) is false.

Also,  is middle most number. It is not the smallest, therefore statement (ii) is false.

∴ Neither (i) nor (ii) is correct.
