Responsibilities

They may need to develop skills in the following control disciplines, such as:

  • advanced process control (APC)
  • distributed control systems (DCS)
  • programmable logic controllers (PLC)
  • supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).

The errands and duties can include:

· planning and developing new control frameworks

· testing, keeping up and adjusting existing frameworks

· investigating information and introducing discoveries in the reports

· overseeing activities

· working cooperatively with design engineers, activity designers, buyers and other inner staff

· liaising with customers, providers, contractual workers and applicable specialists (for example the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority)
