Question $1 .$
Convert the following numerical expressions into Tree diagrams.
(i) $8+(6 \times 2)$
(ii) $9-(2 \times 3)$
(iii) $(3 \times 5)-(4 \div 2)$
(iv) $[(2 \times 4)+2] \times(8 \div 2)$
(v) $[(6+4) \times 7] \div\lfloor 2 \times(10-5)\rfloor$
(vi) $[(4 \times 3) \div 2]+[8 \times(5-3)]$

Question 2 .
Convert the following Tree diagrams into numerical expressions.

Solution: (1) The numerical Expression is $9 \times 8$
(ii) The numerical expression is $(7+6)-5$
(iii) The numerical expression is $(8+2)-(6+1)$
(iv) The numerical expression is $(5 \times 6)-(10 \div 2)$
 

Question 3 .
Convert the following algebraic expressions into tree diagrams.
(i) $10 \mathrm{~V}$
(ii) $3 \mathrm{a}-\mathrm{b}$
(iii) $5 x+y$
(iv) $20 \mathrm{t} \times \mathrm{p}$

(v) $2(\mathrm{a}+\mathrm{b})$
(vi) $(x \times y)-(y \times z)$
(vii) $4 \mathrm{x}+5 \mathrm{y}$
(viii) $(\operatorname{lm}-\mathrm{n}) \div(\mathrm{pq}+\mathrm{r})$

Question $4 .$
Convert tree diagram into Algebraic expression.

Solution:
(i) Algebraic Expression is $p+q$
(ii) Algebraic Expression is $1-\mathrm{m}$
(iii) Algebraic Expression is $(\mathrm{a} \times \mathrm{b})-\mathrm{c}$ (or) $(\mathrm{ab})-\mathrm{c}$
(iv) Algebraic Expression is $(a+b)-(c+d)$
(v) Algebraic Expression is $(8 \div \mathrm{a})+[(6 \div 4)+3]$
