Using brackets, write three pairs of numbers whose sum is 12. Use them to write three equalities.

(a)
(i) $(7+5)$

(b)
(i) $7+5=8+4$
(ii) $7+5=6+6$
(iii) $8+4=6+6$

Question 2.
Find four pairs of numbers, one for each of addition, subtractions multiplication and division that make the number 16. Write the equalities for each of them.

(iv) $(32 \div 2)$

(i) $12+4=8+6$
